Current Watersedge refused my 27yo son entry for lunch on a Tuesday! in high summer! with his mother! because...he was wearing smart casual knee length shorts and brand new Billabong thongs! I wrote to them to express my disgust & disappointment but no reply. My son was visiting from London where he works - he must laugh at Canberra's lack of sophistication!

That is very pretentious isn't it. Thankfully my own lack of sartorial elegance has not led to a banning because it is a very pleasant location where food I enjoy is served.
