BRISBANE

MELBOURNE

The Age's Jane Ormond went exploring the "food hot spots" of Mordialloc with Simone Egger on the "Under $30" beat with some different cafe delights at Carlton's Nora. Gemima Cody reviewed the slightly more upmarket cafe Green Park which she decides to call an Australian bodega. "Charcuterie and small bites form the basis of the menu, but there's also bigger gear, and thankfully, dishes for one."
HOBART
The Mercury was in the advertorial business when it came to food this morning so I'll give that a miss although the mention of a scallop festival did bring back some childhood memories.
ADELAIDE
At The Advertiser they are plugging next week's release of their 2015 Food Guide and the announcement of the best restaurant winners. No real reviews today but plugs for a couple of raman noodle houses. At least the online In Daily gives a serious alternative look at the city's eating with a lunchtime review of The Penang
