Single origin bread? You better believe it!

What does it mean, single origin bread? Well, it's bread made from grain that originates from a single source: grain that can be traced back to the farmer and the region where it was grown. Our single origin flour comes from a group of farmers in the Southern Flinders Ranges of South Australia. ...
Our farmers know that good bread is grown from the ground up. The wheat variety they use is totally GM free. There's no air pollution in the Southern Flinders Ranges, allowing clean and green grain to be grown. The dry weather is a huge advantage, because it means the farmers don't need to use fungicides. And, the wheat is tracked from field to customer and is milled, and rested, to order.
By milling and marketing their wheat as a food rather than a commodity, the group has closed the gap between themselves and the end user. You can read more about our friends at www.flindersgrain.com.au
