They are a couple of examples from a campaign being run to get major food retailers to stock less than perfectly shaped fruit and vegetables. EndFoodWaste.org believes at least 20% of all produce is wasted just because of it's size, shape, color, or appearance. "Australia - Take Action and Demand Ugly!" is the request and there has been some success.
