Chatswood NSW 2067 Chinese - First opened as a hole-in the-wall type deal in Hong Kong, explains The Sunday Telegraph, Tim Ho Wan soon became the stuff of legend, developing an international reputation as the best dim sum (what we call yum cha) restaurant in the city. Expanding quickly, the brand is now in Singapore, Hanoi, Manila, Kuala Lumpur and Taipei. Chatswood, run by ex-Mr Wong chef Eric Koh, is the latest outpost with more planned for Brisbane and Melbourne.

Reviews & Notes | "Look, most of the dishes are delicious, and the pork buns are actually incredible. But I’m not sure I’d wait 90 minutes for one again. I say give it time — a few months maybe — to settle down, then give it a go." |

Reviews & Notes | "So, yes, Tim Ho Wan is over-hyped and over here, but it's still worth a visit for the curiosity factor, the undeniable freshness of the food, and The Bun. I'm just not convinced it's worth the queue." |
